The basic idea in relation to the design of this record, was based on the dissemination of the original repertoire for accordion, a premise that has guided my professional career as an accordionist. For that, I opted for composers with very different musical perspectives, including my own music, which naturally led to the creation of a disc that addresses works with contrasting aesthetic currents. It can be said that in the selection of the respective repertoire, the choice of works that use a wide range of technical resources of the instrument was taken into account, providing the listener with listening to sounds and musical environments less likely coming from the accordion.
My pieces "Suite nº1 Images of Pac-chen" and "Densus" constitute the first world recording on disk, while the remaining works on the album, some of which are references in the accordion repertoire, are one of the few existing phonographic records.
The privilege that I have had, over the years, in living with musicians, conductors, composers of great quality, who look at the accordion with great appreciation, is undoubtedly an extra motivation to continue this path of affirmation of the instrument.
This CD aims to also contribute to the proliferation of the accordion in the professional music market, making known more and more an instrument with stupendous capabilities, capable of attracting an increasingly demanding audience, which seeks innovation and does not conform to monotony.
